LAS VEGAS: INTREPID WINS THE JACKPOT!!
Great victory and satisfaction for the Intrepid team during the trip overseas.
The American air and the jet-leg did not affect the Intrepid Racing Team drivers who made the weekend a FANTASTIC weekend.
Bas Lammers, Jeremy Iglesias and Norman Nato, thanks to technical support and high quality materials, have occupied all the podium without leaving space for rivals.
Intrepid’s guests of honour:
the Formula 1 drivers Sébastien Buemi and Nelson Piquet Jr.
The two drivers are involved in the Super Pro (KZ2) and they gave their best.
They play very hard! The effort was too much but unfortunately in the final Buemi was involved in a crash and he had to retire. However he has shown that he knows very well the kart and how affront a kart race. During the final heats Buemi remained in pole position for all the time and he finished 2nd a few milliseconds from the faster. Also Piquet made a good work and despite the final in 10th position.
The three Intrepid drivers were placed at the top from the first qualifying and they protected their positions until the end of the race.
It was not easy because the opponents were aggressive but they work as team and they earn the best result. They demonstrated, another time, how the teamwork is important.
