CIK-FIA KZ1 WORLD CUP 2009: INTREPID SHOWS ITS SUPREMACY!
Sarno, 4-5-6 September 2009.
Intrepid Kart Technology this weekend has proved its importance and the quality of its products beyond that of its pilots.
In KZ1, the category with the gears, Intrepid is strong and dominated over all since the first qualifying. The quality of materials, preparation and organization of the pilots of the team meant that Intrepid was the star of this World Cup 2009, which would remain etched in the minds of many people. We have seen a succession of real Intrepid pole, all characterized by the grit and determination of the pilots who have pledged and fought with the "knife in the teeth" to the last. Each pilot of the great team of Mirko Sguerzoni, attended as many as 7 drivers including the Formula 1 driver Jaime Alguersuari, was the protagonist. In each round of qualifying the kart Intrepid have relied on winning the first places of the grid once again affirming the validity and competitiveness of products made in Salizzole.
Iglesias is in shape and stands out immediately followed by NATO but also Lammers is no less impressive in his heats and is always in front as well Piccini and cats that stood out among all. Jaime Alguersuari has surprised those who know him and showed what it means to be a reaching out of class despite not always the best position to participate in a karting competition for the past 4 years and had never competed in KZ.
In the pre-final all the indications are the best: 1 JEREMY IGLESIAS, 2nd and 3rd NORMAN NATO BAS LAMMERS but unfortunately the call of Commissioners for 10 seconds to inflict Lammers, for an early departure, has stunned the race strategy of team.
Thus ended the final with 5 Intrepid kart in the first 8, with Iglesias and Lammers on the second and third places affirmation the Intrepid supremacy during all the weekend.
The owner Mirko Sguerzoni says
"It isn’t important to win but to convince, we were successful at 100% and we have proved our dominance. I want to personally make a big thank to all the staff of the Racing Team who have done an impeccable job. "
We at Intrepid are truly proud and happy with the convincing results obtained and we are ready to face the next challenge!
